Supply and commissioning of automatic loading and unloading cars for rolling mill “QUARTO 1800”

On November, 3rd, 2016, the manufacturing and engineering company ENCE GmbH, Switzerland, supplied, installed and put into operation the automatic loading and unloading cars for rolling mill “QUARTO 1800” with the capacity of 11 tons each meant for loading and transporting of aluminum foil coils.

The commissioning of new cars led to the following improvements:

• The loading and coil takeoff can be done simultaneously. As a result, the cars working cycle has decreased from five minutes to thirty seconds
• Setting up time for loading and coil takeoff has decreased for more than 3 times
• Cars de-installation time during repair works decreased from five hours to forty minutes
