Description

Advantages of water-jet high-pressure technology
Description
  • A wide range of nozzles for various applications using only one system - cleaning, rust removal, cutting etc.
  • Small nozzle sizes for operation in hard-to-reach places.
  • Geometrically accurate nozzle movement, including straightforward, which makes adjustment to the weld profile possible.
  • Considerable increase in the amount of waste. Compared with dry sand blasting, the amount of waste is decreased by 98%.
  • Dust-free operation to perform other jobs, i.e. coating, simultaneously. Treatment of selective zones is also possible.
  • Selective multi-layer coating removal is possible
  • Very gentle operation of water-jet systems. Sensitive spots, like welds and connections, will not be damaged.
  • Applicable standards allow accurate quality assessment of surface cleaning using water-jet systems
  • Low salt content of the surface, because high-pressure water cleans the smallest pockets. On the contrary, sand blasting leads to pockets plugging and conservation of salts in them.
  • Water-jet treated surfaces ensure good adhesion and can be used underwater.
  • A wide range of abrasive nozzles enables to cut almost all structural materials. Thus, no internal stress, dust or slag occur.
